Mr. J. Dan Denbow joined the Denver Gold Group Board of Directors in January 2022. Mr. J. Dan Denbow, CFA, is a private investor, independent director and advisor with 29 years of capital markets experience with the most recent 22 years spent at USAA Investment Management Company. With USAA Mr. Denbow was an analyst and portfolio manager. As a portfolio manager Dan was responsible for managing the Precious Metals and Minerals fund and the domestic and global dividend strategies with over $4 billion in assets under management. Mr. Denbow is an independent director for Signature Resources and an advisor to Gemdale Gold, both are junior exploration companies with assets in Canada and Finland, respectively. Dan is also owner and president of Denbow Oil & Gas, Inc with royalty and working interest in oil and gas production in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Louisiana.
Tim Wood has served as the Executive Director of The Denver Gold Group, Inc. since April 2011. Prior to joining DGG, Tim managed retail and institutional investment conferences in the U.S. and South Africa, including Mining Indaba. Tim also has extensive experience in publishing and publishing technology having founded several publications, and as an editor for several media enterprises. He earned a graduate degree in International Relations, and a Diploma in Business Administration, both from the University of the Witwatersrand. He read for the degrees after completing compulsory military service as a combat artillery officer at the conclusion of the Angolan war.
Mr. Luke Gleeson joined the Denver Gold Group Board of Directors in January 2023. Mr. Gleeson is Chief Sustainability Officer & Head of Corporate Development at Bellevue Gold. Mr. Gleeson has 20 years of experience in the industry. At Bellevue Gold his role initially incorporated forming the Company’s strategy on its pathway to production, engaging with the investment community and driving the strategy for the company’s aspirational goal of being a net zero emissions producer by 2026. Previously he worked as Head of Investor Relations and a Business Development Officer with ASX listed gold producer Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST). At Northern Star, he was involved with their asset acquisitions and played key roles in securing equity funding and communicating with the global analyst and investment community. In 5yrs he raised collectively over $1.5B in equity and debt at BGL and NST. Pre his time at NST he worked as a sell side analyst with Macquarie Bank covering the precious metals sector. Mr. Gleeson has a Bachelor of International Finance from Griffith University QLD & post- graduate qualifications in Mineral Exploration Geoscience (WASM) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Mineral Economics, Western Australian School of Mines and is also a Member of AusIMM. Mr. Gleeson is also a member of the Australian Defence Force where he is an active member of the Australian Army Reserve with the Regional Force Surveillance Group (RFSG) 3 Squadron Pilbara Regiment.
Ms. Rachel Goldman is Chief Executive Officer and Director at Paramount Gold Nevada. Ms. Goldman joined the Denver Gold Group Board of Directors in January 2023. Prior to joining Paramount in February 2020, Ms. Goldman spent 20 years in capital markets with Canadian based boutique and bank owned firms, and most recently as Managing Director Institutional Equity Sales for Desjardins Securities. Over those years she developed strong working relationships with institutional investors throughout Canada, the US and the UK, and helped to connect numerous public companies to key investment decision makers and improve their market profile. Ms. Goldman holds Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Finance from Concordia University.
Mr. John Pearson joined the Denver Gold Group Board of Directors in January 2020. Mr. Pearson is an investor relations executive with more 40 years of natural resources industry experience including 34 years in Investor Relations. Most recently Mr. Pearson served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Centerra Gold Inc. for 15 years until his retirement in 2021. Prior to joining Centerra Gold, he held senior investor relations and corporate communications positions with Stillwater Mining, SouthernEra Resources, Pegasus Gold Inc., LAC Minerals Ltd. and Canamax Resources Ltd from 1987 to 2006. Prior to working in investor relations and corporate communications, Mr. Pearson spent six years in the mining industry as an exploration geologist for a variety of mining companies including Kerr Addison Mines, BP Resources Canada, Selco Division, and Abermin Resources. Mr. Pearson holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Lakehead University. Mr. Pearson has been involved with the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) since its formation and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) since 1987.
Onno Rutten served as a Director of The Denver Gold Group from 2017 to 2022 and rejoined the Board of Directors in January 2024. Mr. Rutten is Vice President, Investment Management at Mackenzie Investments, one of Canada’s largest independent asset managers with approximately C$200B in assets under management. Mr. Rutten is Portfolio Manager for Mackenzie’s Precious Metals and Global Resource funds since 2013 and in this role interacts daily with senior management of global Precious Metals, Metals & Mining, and Materials companies. Prior to joining Mackenzie in 2011, Mr. Rutten was Equity Research Analyst and Executive Director at UBS and Scotiabank, covering the Precious Metals and Metals & Mining sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Rutten was a Senior Process Engineer in hydrometallurgy and minerals processing at Hatch, a global engineering and project implementation firm, where he designed and audited mines in Africa, Australia and Canada. Mr. Rutten holds an MSc (Mining and Petroleum Engineering) from Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands), and an MBA from INSEAD (France).
Clifford Walter, CPA, CGMA joined the Denver Gold Group Board of Directors in January 2019. Mr. Walter is owner of Caring Accounting Services, LLC which focuses on providing full service accounting for small to mid-sized closely held businesses and individuals in the greater Denver area. His passion is advising businesses on accounting related issues and helping clients understand and interpret their financial transactions and to provide information that helps them make informed business decisions. Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Walter was the director of accounting services for a mid-sized Denver CPA firm. His prior experience includes performing financial statement audits for over 20 years for several CPA firms. Mr. Walter received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with Emphasis in Accounting from La Sierra University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Global Management Accountants and currently holds CPA licenses to practice in Colorado and California.
