Harmony is a specialist gold producer with a growing copper footprint. It has operations in South Africa, Australia and Papua New Guinea.

In the financial year 2023, Harmony produced between 1.47Moz of gold. Attributable gold and gold equivalent Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves amount to 137.8Moz and 39.3Moz respectively.

Production in South Africa is generated from nine underground mines, one open pit mine and a sizeable surface retreatment business. Not only is Harmony South Africa's largest gold producer by volume, but it is also the world’s largest producer of gold from the retreatment of old tailings dams.

In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley open-pit gold and silver mine and surrounding exploration tenements. The Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project is owned by the Wafi-Golpu joint venture, a 50:50 unincorporated joint venture between Harmony and Newcrest Mining Limited (Australia). We are progressing the permitting of Wafi-Golpu.

Eva Copper is an exciting, near-term copper project in the tier 1 jurisdiction of Queensland, Australia. Feasibility studies are currently being updated.

The company’s primary stock exchange listing is on the JSE, ticker code HAR, with a secondary listing on the New York Stock Exchange, ticker code HMY. Harmony has a global shareholder base with the majority of its shareholders in the United States, South Africa and Europe.
