INV Metals is completing a Feasibility Study (“FS”) at Loma Larga to build upon the positive Preliminary Feasibility Study ("PFS") on Loma Larga in August 2016. The PFS indicated a Probable reserve of 1.86 million ounces of gold grading 4.98 gpt Au. The PFS supports the development of an underground mine at Loma Larga with production of approximately 3,000 tonnes per day and average annual gold production of 150,000 ounces over an initial 12 year mine life. The PFS estimates that the project will generate a robust post-tax internal rate of return of 26.3% and an after-tax payback of 2.7 years.
INV Metals also holds a 100% interest in exploration concessions recently granted in Ecuador, including the Las Peñas, Tierras Coloradas, La Rebuscada and Carolina exploration projects, which have potential to host numerous epithermal, as well as low and intermediate sulphidation gold and silver targets.
