Galway Metals (GWM.TO) is well capitalized with two advanced exploration projects in Canada: Clarence Stream, an exciting new gold district in New Brunswick, and Estrades, the former producing, gold- and zinc-rich VMS mine in the northern Abitibi of Western Quebec. Including very strong precious metals credits, Estrades is one of the highest-grade zinc deposits in North America.
Since Galway’s acquisition of both projects, the Company has drilled over 20,000 meters on each, resulting in significant resource increases in both. Looking forward, Galway plans on adding value through exploration, and on advancing both projects toward production. A major benefit for the Company and its shareholders is that both projects are located in mine-friendly jurisdictions with highly skilled labor and excellent infrastructure.
Galway Metals began trading on January 4, 2013, after its successful spinout to existing shareholders from Galway Resources following the completion of the US$340 million sale of that company. With substantially the same management team and Board of Directors, Galway Metals is keenly intent on emulating the same level of success.
