Data we process when you use DGG products
When you register for a DGG event we process information about that activity including IP addresses and cookie data. General location information may be processed indirectly through third party services such as bulk e-mail vendors, Google Analytics, and Amazon Web Services, but is never stored by us. Biographical information may be added to your information using public source products such as LinkedIn and Google. General location information is collected on site at some events.

Why we process it
We process this data for the purposes described in our policy, including to:

  • Ensure that our event services are appropriate and useful such as food and beverage orders and venue selections;
  • Improve the quality of our services and develop new ones;
  • Conduct analytics and measurement to understand how our services are used.

Combining data
We combine data among our services and across your devices for these purposes. For example, registration actions are conducted on one platform whilst meeting actions are conducted on a separate platform. Participation data gathered on site is also conducted on another platform. Data is exchanged between those platforms to maintain security and a high level of service and customer satisfaction.

If you do not agree we will be unable to process your registration or other activity, and you will be unable to participate in any DGG events including the Mining Forums.
If you do not agree we will not be able to invite you to events, or communicate about current events you are registered for, and you will not be able to participate in meetings.
