Denver Gold Group regrets to announce the passing of Dr. Leanne M. Baker, who was instrumental in establishing Denver Gold Group and remaining its staunch advocate since 1989.

Leanne was an esteemed leader of and pioneer in the North American mining industry who never hesitated to share her knowledge and experience with those around her.

She served on several company boards and was a top-ranked commodity and equity analyst in the US. Leanne was a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines (M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mineral Economics), and University of Colorado (B.A. Journalism).
